ACCA UK & Ireland Golf Challenge 2008 (Wales Heat) Could you drive, swing and putt your way to the final of the ACCA UK & Ireland Golf Challenge 2008? This year the final will be held at the award winning Marriott Vila Sol Spa and Golf Resort in sunny Portugal on 2 October 2008. ACCA UK & Ireland Golf Challenge is sponsored by Hays Senior Finance and hosted in partnership with Marriott Hotels. The winning ACCA member and top three ACCA member runners up from each of the five regional heats will qualify to compete in the final. All finalists will enjoy breakfast, one round of golf, dinner and two nights' accommodation at the amazing Vila Sol in Vilamoura, Portugal in October 2008. The Wales heat is being held at The Vale Resort and is ideally located just 3 minutes off Junction 34 of the M4. The 6438 yard Lake Course is aptly named with water coming into play on many holes - including an island green. This well established 72 par course truly guarantees a most challenging and enjoyable round of golf. Registration is from 10.00am with the first tee off time reserved at 11.00am. The play will be in four-ball and will follow Stableford rules.
